Managing Partner, Chief Investment Officer, Investment Advisor Representative
John Catalfamo is the co-founder and Chief Investment Officer of PRIMORIS Wealth Advisors, LLC. John has over 20 years of experience as a licensed investment professional.
John began his career as a registered representative having taken and passed his Series 7 (General Securities Representative) and Series 63 (Uniform Securities Agent State Law) securities licenses. Within a few years he created an independent OSJ (Office of Supervisory Jurisdiction) with a national brokerage firm where he added the Series 24 (General Securities Principal) license.
Guided by his core principle of focusing on his clients’ best interests John added the Series 65 (Uniform Investment Advisor Law) license in order to act as a true fiduciary. In the Spring of 2000 PRIMORIS was formed enabling him to fulfill his goal of being a true independent fee only advisor, free from any conflicts of interest that come with being a commissioned broker.
His relentless pursuit of excellence coupled with a burning desire to learn led him to create CED Tax & Accounting Services, a full service tax and accounting firm. Since 2005 CED has given many PRIMORIS clients better insights into their overall finances by pairing the natural marriage of wealth and taxes together.
John is a highly respected and sought after advisor. His insights and thoughts have been shared in such notable publications as The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Investor Advisor Magazine, On Wall Street, Money Management Executive and many others.
